We had an employee bake sale/competition at the resort this morning. All proceeds went to the AZ United Way. I made 2 dozen of these little guys, Peach Meringue cupcakes. I got 2nd place! Woot!

Smorkin' Cookies!!!

Cass knows a local cookie artist named Gina Miller, and had her make these UNBELIEVABLE AMAZING AWESOME Smorkin' Labbit cookies for Julie's Birthday!!!! They are sooooooooo cool!! I'm pretty sure I cried when I saw them...it was a beautiful thing...no seriously.

Jibi's Birthday!!

Julie's 25th birthday was Saturday. We all got together tonight to celebrate!! We had a beer tasting, and delicious eats including Cass's homemade spinach artichoke dip and my homemade mac and cheese.

Well, not really new, but you know what I mean. My Mom found this in my Grandmother's basement and brought it back for me. It used to be in the lake house my Father spent his summers as a kid. Pretty sure it's from the 40's.

Our Urban Outfitters stopped selling the Futurama figurines, so we stopped and bought two at the Urban Outfitters near our hotel in San Francisco. And we got two Nibblers.* And we already had a Nibbler. Do you know anyone who collects them, and might need him?

Community Dinner

Cass and I hosted a community dinner tonight. I cooked up a bunch of delicious food with some farmer's market finds Cass brought back from her hometown, Wilcox.
