My favorite recipe
So. This recipe is I think my favorite recipe, because although I found it here, I've changed it up a lot to make it my own. We probably eat this like three times a month.

Pepper plant
Adam and I bought this plant when we picked out our Christmas tree, and it didn't do too well in our dark apartment, so I brought it to my sunny office at work and now it's super happy! It's even starting to flower (but I don't think you can tell in this picture).
The peppers are edible, but I don't know what to do with them. I'll probably dry them and used them as extra-spicy crushed red pepper.

Mystical Van
So, went to the 24-hour 5 & Diner around 12:30am with some friends. This van was in the parking lot when we pulled up. The owner was in the 5 & Diner. How did I know who it was? Well, not only did he have a matching vest with a Tiger on the back, but his own self portrait is painted on the back of the car...you'll see.

Birdcage Ornaments
I ordered these after I saw them on Mighty Goods. I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet but I don't think I want to just use them as Christmas decorations...

Fixed Gear Bike Race
There was a fixed gear bike race from Downtown/Central Phoenix to Tempe last night. The finish line was at a movie theater called Madcap. They had a double feature of 2 short films about fixed gear bikes called "London to Paris" and "The Revival." I didn't do the race, obviously, since I don't have a bike, and I haven't ridden one in like 10 years, but I did go to the films.

Paninis
Adam's parents sent us a panini maker, so I tried it out with this recipe and OMG they were so good. (Except I couldn't find ciabatta bread at Safeway.)
Practical Art Show
I went to an art show at Practical Art last night. The show was "My Beautiful City," by local artist Catherine Slye. Her work was awesome. She started by taking photographs of the city, and then using those to draw small scale sketches, which she then sewed onto painted fabrics and papers.
